its a long story but i bought a new motherboard and 1gb of memory
after unpacking it i relised my old 1.7 ghz processor was a different pin so i had to buy a new processor (a 428 pin
2.8 ghz p4)
well i have connected everything up and have powered up
and this is where the trouble starts:
a: the floppy disk doesnt work
b: xp pro doesnt load even though i have't changed any of the settings on my hard drives
does winxp have a problem with new motherboards/configs
is it part of their security measures that it might think it has changed computer?
any help will be usefull
ps: i did have a problem a while back with my hard drives when i upgraded to xp but i cant think it would be that now.
