ok how do you have your drives hooked up to your system? XP should see all cdroms without extra drivers needed IF you have the cdroms installed on the primary or secondary MTB connectors. (not a raid controller ie: highpoint controller)

Does the bios see the drives?
If so then skip the next paragraph and goto the bottom...

If you have them both on the same cable make sure they are not both jumpered for the same setting(master/slave)
Try disconnecting one cdrom and see if you can detect that single drive. If they are both on the same cable, and one is set for master, the other is slave, and each one will detect WITHOUT the other connected, then try swapping the drive settings. Make the master a slave, and vice-versa.

The only other issue I can think of is if the drives are in compatability mode (dos drivers are loading at startup)

They are on seperate IDE cables, in IDE slots one and two on my motherboard. I can reboot in 7 mins, but please contact me on MSN .





good at Java, mastered Java Script, learning C++ some more, and have not done alot with the others.
