if it's a server rackmount style situation, it'd be a whole mess of these processors. Big coorperations are money mongers dude. They don't see it as $20, they see it as $20 per server stations, multiplied by how many hours it works, multiplied by the months in a year = Thousands a year.

what about the earth? less power consumption = seconds more the earth will live :P

why dont they bench the xeon w/ somethig its own size. like maybe the 8** series opteron and see how many benchies the xeon wins hahaha.

I think we all know that intel frequency and AMD don't compare. Just like with graphics cards my ATI with lower clocks will beat a lower NVIDIA with higher clocks.
