they would perform roughly the same in Direct3D games, but the 6600 would perform better in OpenGL games. that and it has Smartshader 3.0

I can't fully comment on leadteks quality but eVGA is a really good quality manufacturer. I just got my eVGA 6600GT today! Just now installing drivers though so I haven't gotten to fully test it, but I'll let you know how it does if you'd like. I'll probably wind up re-installing doom3 and HL2 later today.

Well I got drivers installed. Playing Kotor: II at 1280x1024 resolution (monitors max) 4x AA, and 16x AF completely smooth

I'll get doom3 and HL2 info to ya later

*sob* I payed $400 for a card and I can't even get that.

You can't go wrong with Nvidia, but ATI will give you nothing but headaches.

I only read that on the review concerning the PCI-E models....so I honestly don't know about AGP. But still I like eVGA's quality and trusted name brand so I went with it.

My last one was a chaintech and it sucked so I'm taking a break from the 'Techs'
