Default Wtf? I don't get the Mineral Oil Computer

Well, I saw that post a couple months back about a computer submerged in mineral oil. But doesn't it break like the sameway if you put like electronics in water it breaks like wtf. Sorry, I'm just a kid and was really confused.

This is the post.
Mineral Oil Cooled PC.

nvm.... lol found out. Its not conductive or something rofl. sorry.

Mineral oil does not conduct electricity. It's commonly used as a coolant for electrical components.

Like you said in your edit, oil is a non-conductive liquid.

Its actually a sick joke whereby someone puts a **** load of effort into building it, only to find out that his $1K PC is now just a heap of silicon.
