Cool Wow, this CPU has MASSIVE OCING POTENTIAL!!

Athlon 64 3000+ Winchester

stock is 1800, im running at 2000

idle temp is 31 celsius!!!

i'll check it out at 2200 tomorrow

all the winchesters are great for overclocking. ive got my 3200 upto 2.4 but ive seen ppl with theirs at 2.6 just depends on the chip.

The 3000 can OC higher

I got my skt 939 3400 (it's basicly a .13nm 3500 whinchster) up to 2.5ghz stable with quite a bit of voltage. This was with like 1.7 volts or something.

I will try to get to 2.6ghz when my as5 finishes burning in

i got my 2800 up to 2ghz...then everything goes crappy...i think pretty much caus ei can't change the ram timings in bios....

the winchester run cooler than the clawhammers though that why they can be o/c further.

no overclock i run at 30-32
overcloced i run at 35....tha's too hot????

my psu is crap though...the 12v dropps massivily when i overclock....
