^^I though it was the placebo effect on mine at first too but when I tried using a system with a conventional drive again I couldn't believe how sluggish it was.

Boot times are only a small part of the picture, the difference is responsiveness is like night and day.

Now that there are a good number of SSD users here I will have to make a thread for the AS SSD Benchmark. From what I have seen it's a much more accurate method of comparing drive performance than HD Tach.

^ Puddle is right, overall system responsiveness makes a huge jump.


The only thing ATi can render faster than nVidia is the BSOD

The problem you have is you computer will bottleneck that ssd.

Send it to me so it can be tested to ensure this is not a problem.
