Default Wiring up fans outside a computer

I want to wire up 4 fans so I can put them on top of my stereo receiver to blow some of the hot air away or out. I was wondering if there was a way to just wire them to a plug?

I believe it is possible, but you will need to add an inline fuse and switch. You should also know something about electricity and wiring.

You can just buy a fan that plugs into a USB 2.0 slot

I thought about that before I posted, but I don't think that will be strong enough to do what he wants, then again, I have never used one. Are they that strong?
