Wireless bluetooth keyboard + booting up

I know bluetooth keyboards have problems booting up and being able to be detected. I know there are chips out there. But i'm wondering is there a way with the D-Link DBT-120 bluetooth adapter and a Wireless Apple Keyboard, to be able to have consistent connect whether before or after boot up, such as a driver or update. Thanks.
