Second of all: I wasn't talking about the CD. You can format a hard drive without an OS CD. If you get a bootable floppy, you can do it from there. Learn how stuff works before you critize people. Asshole.

Why do people get so easily annoyed, aggresion is not the answer.

As to your second comment, yes I relise you are able to boot from a diskette, but not many people actualy bother to use them anymore seeing how most O/S come on CD's these days. Hence the reason I did not mention it.

Ok guys I got It wiped and reformated, I'm having some trouble now. WIndows Xp is installed, but It won't let me change the res or image quality. I'm also not getting an internet connection. I followed the instructions it gave to change the resolution, but the area where it says to change it is not available. Can anyone help?

you need to install your video and ethernet drivers. go to device manager to see what else needs to be install.

you can also use the utility in my sig. it it better than fdisk. it can remove a virus to you MBR. fdisk can't

I havnt had any problems yet cand I have no where else to put it. It's easier to access too.
