windows xp boot problems

i just upgraded to a dfi nforce2 ultra-al and when i boot xp it will show the boot screen, turn off my monitor completely for about 10 seconds, then show the wecome screen and proceed to xp. my old comp used to just flash from the boot to the welcome screens. i want to find out why it is turing my monitor off then booting.

DFI nforce2 ultra-al
512 geil pc3200
2500+ @ 3200+ (11 x 200)
radeon 9800 pro
audigy 2 zs for logitech z680s
wd 80 gig special ed.
500 watt psu
KDS 17" flat panel

It might have somthing to do with conflicts between the graphics card and the CPU but im not sure. If everything works i wouldnt worry, but if there are some things that do not work, ask some more questions.
