Win2000 on sata hard drive problem

I've looked around on these forums and couldnt find a solution to my problem. I have a WD PATA hard drive and recently got a WD SATA hard drive. With lots of messing with the bios I finally got my comp to recognize everything, so finally I thought install windows would be the easy part. I guess I was wrong. I go to install it, and after the first section of installing crap it restarts and I get 'error loading operating system'. I've used some SATA link files or whatever that WD gave me from their site on a floppy and hit F6 and loaded it, but I still get the same crap. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

If i were you i would check the motherboard chipset and try to go to their website, they will more than likely have drivers to download that will work better with your SATA drive.

Preform same setup press F6 and see how you go.
