My friend had the virus were it makes your computer shutdown after 60 seconds were it gives you that security warning thing. I said we could fix it or we could just install windows 98 and restore his computer. He said yeah just install windows 98 since he thinks it is better. When we installed everything he only got 16 bits of colours and when we went to start the internet connections wizzard it just said there was an error and could not start? help...

Windows 98 doesn't have the drivers built in for new hardware. You must manually download the Win98 driver for each of his components (graphics card, LAN/modem, etc.), and install them before it will work.
