Default Will This Work?

Its my first time building a cpu (with the help of a friend) and im just wonderin if these will all be compatible and how they should perform for gaming.Here is the hardware:

Cases (Computer Cases, ATX Form)
Cooler Master Wave Master Black MID-TOWER CASE, Model "TAC-T01-EK" -RETAIL

The case comes with 3 fans, so should i get the extra fan+heatsink? Thanks for any help!

No. Socket 940 Processors need ECC ram

its not the CPU, its the slot for the CPU, 940 is the amount of pins on the CPU
