Default Will this video card run Doom3/Halflife2??? please :) i wanna get a good card

HIS Hightech ATi RADEON 9600XT Turbo Video Card 650 MHz, 256MB DDR, 128-bit, DVI/TV-Out, 8X AGP, Model "EXCALIBUR RADEON 9600XT PLATINUM" -RETAIL

$180.50

i wonder is this a good video card that can easily run all the newest games doom3/halflife2/farcry/stalker etc.??

since i only have a 64mb video card right now

Yea, another forum member runs Doom3 on Ultra High Settings with that card.

yeah it will run it but check it i got me a 9800 regular fo 160$ great buy from new.com imean the 9600XT is a great card but this 1 has 8 pipelins and u can overclock that jammie I have Doom 3 and i run it at ultra its practicly lagless and really lagless with a fresh install of xp

well, if you are on a buget like me, get the 7600xt 256 but if you are not, get the 9800

Yeah dude. looks like a sweet card there. it should run far cry on high settings, even a gforce 4 ran far cry so u shouldn't have any trouble.

like i said before, if you are on a tight budget and want nice graphics go for the sapphire 9600xt 256Mb. Its only $153 dollars on newegg
