the 6800 blatently says in the manual that it needs atleast 400w, and they generally are implying a true power 400w with a good strong +12v rail to boot

a 400w PSU could easy handle a 6800gt.

but if your running generic, i wouldnt trust a generic ever.

go with an antec or enermax. thermaltakes are good too. but using a no name brand psu can cause unstability that can cause lock ups and decreased hardware life.
