ok, thanks for the help. I downloaded that thing and if that dosen't work I might go to future shop and buy that fan.

BTW before I do that how could i clean the CPU HS.


I just remembered that it only happened a little while ago... when I played Morrowind it never shut down, but recently it does.

Hi.

I have an e-machine' laptop, 512 mb of ram, 32 mb grafx card, windows xp, amd athlon uhh i forget which version lol.

Well... when playing video games on the computer it shut down. It used to be like every 30-45 minutes, but recently it's about every 10 minutes. This is veryannoying.

Does anyone know the cause and/or solution to this?

Sounds like an over heating problem to me.

Just cooler has a cooling pad for notebook computers.

I've had this problem many times... and everytime I've had it, updating my video card drivers and installing the latest version of Direct X, fixes it everytime.

How would I go about updating my vc drivers?
