Where is the performance?

Just recently did some upgrades and the system looks like this:

AMD64 3500+ (939 pin)
4*512 PC3200
MSI KN8 NEO2 Platinun
BFG 6800 Ultra GT
80GB Deskstar SATA
200GB WD IDE
500 Watt PSU
Watercooled running at about 98-100F

Upgraded from a 2800+ and 1gb of ram.

The system seems to actually run slower now (windows boot). I do alot of gaming, so I ran 3DMark before upgrade and got about 3800, and then ran it again after upgrade and am only getting 3960. The tests on the graphics card are coming back extremely well, but the processor tests are still way down (only about 1fps throughout the test).

Anyone with this board or chip had similar problems? Where should I look in the BIOS (all upgrades complete v1.3) for tweaks or obvious things I should change? This seems really odd and is painfully dissapointing for spending so much money and not getting the returns.

I get variable readings on my AMD64 2200+ everywhere from 500MHz-2.7GHz, and when it's readin 500 you sure can feel it.I've been told it's that Winblows isn't up to working with a 64bit processor yet.

Those are my best and worst, though, and it last of maybe half a second.I'm typically running from 1.7GHz-2.4GHz.
