Default Where do I go for Radeon 7000 Driver Update?

Hi all, as some of you may know I'm a newb to the computer world. I just finished getting my computer cleaned out ...found out I had hundreds of nasty viruses and trojans that were laying around and now that they're gone, I've seen a difference in computer performance. Anyways, so I'm looking to keep everything up to date and was wondering where I can find my driver update for my Radeon 7000? And what exactly happens after it is updated? Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

on that page:

select Windows98 in first column

Graphic driver in second column

and Raeon family in 3rd and press go

it will take u to download area.

download any of the first (newest 4.11 release) or second (4.10 release) driver both files are 20MB

and double click that downloaded file to install it, it will automcatically detect your operating system.

And what exactly does upgrading the drivers do? Sorry I know, I'm not really good at computers.
