the next upgrade i will do is a used 64-128MB memory card next year.

I might max the memory to 2GB, as it costs nothing to do that...

i will upgrade the whole system to pentium 4 in about 2-3 years, when i get a decent job with money.

Considering I just built a new rig, it'll probably be a while. The only upgrade I can see myself making 'soon' would be to an GeForce 8 series GPU and to Vista after it's been out a while.

i'm like trotter i buy whatt i want when i have the cash. my next upgrade will probably be 2-4 months depending on how money goes i'll be getting a 7800gt.

actually vista is really going to be quite different from xp, that doesn't necessarily mean its good. i have heard that many people talk about how different win 2k and win xp are when in fact they are very closely related with the largest changes been aesthetic and interfaces yet the XP kernel is very closely related to 2k. windows vista on the other hand i believe is more radical a change. once again i say that doesn't make it good.

I just build my machine, so I want to wait until a new socket that isnt the AM2 comes out for my CPU, and the graphics card after the 8 series. I also want vista it looks hecka cool.
