Whats a good External HD?

I am in the market for a decent External HD, between 100-250Gb. I would like to be able to back things up, but also be able to access file from home, and take the HD to work every so often to use it there. Any Suggestions on a decent one? I was considering this Maxtor:

I would go with the lacie my friend has it. Hes never had one problem with it. And it looks cool and does not have to run vertical that either.

the maxtor has a much higher data transfer rate, so i suggest the maxtor.

I would recommend an internal drive instead.

external drives are nice because you can move them from computer to computer and dont take your power supplys power they have external power adapters.

I just bought the Maxtor 120GB yesterday. Transfer rate seems very fast.
