I have a customer ordering in 2x Quadro FX2000 128MB Video cards.
SPECS :- Quadro FX2000 128MB Video DDR2/8X AGP/TV/DVI/2nd VGA/ Ramdac- Dual400Mhz/ DirectX 9.0/OpenGL 2.0ICD

These video cards are F-expensive.

What's the go with these?

And since are getting them in stock this afternoon, and not sending them out until monday, is it worth my while to borrow one for the week end?

Used as workstation GPUs. Video rendering, hardcore 3D rendering, stuff like that. Complete programability in things like vertex shading and pixels.

The absolute ultimate for anyone who does stuff like CGI.

How would worksatation video cards be at gaming? The reason I ask it because I have a GeForceFX Go5650 in my laptop and I might be able to replace it with a QuadroFX Go1000 and I just want to know how it would perform.

So if I just want to play UT2k4, I am just going to be waisting my time?
