You need to be more specific, assuming you are talking about a memory divider, it's a ratio between the FSB speed and memory speed that is changed in the BIOS from 1:01 to another value.

so a divider is not a piece of hardware. In a sentence for anandtech; Did you use a Divider for the overclock? something like that can't remember exactly.
