What's the difference between hard drives and power supplies?

OK. Would the Enermax 'noisetaker' series be quiet? My goal here is to have a kickin', flashy PC that is as quiet as possible.

I have the 470W version. Absolutely quiet. As in no sound at all. Its also controllable... which is funny cos no matter what speed its on you cant hear it.

It also stays on for 2 minutes after the PC is shut down to cool itself and remove hot air from the case. With the noisetaker series you absolutely get what you pay for it.... but you will pay. Theyre rather pricey.

Yeah I know, they are like $82.

I'm not sure yet, but at this point I think I will stick with the quality $35 PSU.
