I was considering on upgrading my computer, but seeing as though I can run 5 operating systems at once (1 native, 4 virtual) without any serious bog down, I see no reason to get an i7/DDR3/whatever just yet. I was actually pleasantly surprised at how little cpu usage I was utilizing with what all I was running (google earth, thunderbird, firefox, transferring large files from VM to VM, etc). It held up nicely.
