I think later tonight I'm going to read some reviews on power supplies across the net and then go shopping again.

I started to think about electricity bills tho.... Will the power supply always be pulling 600w or will it only supply what is demanded? I.E.: Is The PS is pulling (from the house electricity lines) less with only one hard drive and cdrom drive hooked up rather than 4 hard drives and 2 cd drives hooked up?

Is the 600w over doing it for this deal? Should I just go with the 500w?

Is Ultra a good power supply name?..... You cant read reviews on tiger direct as you can newegg.
All power supplies now days are switched, which means that they will only pull as much as your components need. so to answer your question, go for the beefiest most powerful PSU you can get

I would appricate any links to reliable, relatively cheap 500w+ power supplies.
