What type of PS....

I think my PS died and I'm afraid to purchase another cheapie off ebay... can someone DIRECTLY link me to where to a cheap but reliable PS. I have a AMD processor, I dont know if thats nessicary when shopping for power supplies.

I was checking the tiger direct power supplies since the enlight is only 420w and I came across this = http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=608533&sku=U10-9500 BKL power supply and this connector does not look familar.. what is it used for?

I wasnt looking to spend this much money on a power supply, so I dont think I'll be purchasing that one.... but I do want a reliable power supply, so when I do a new setup in a year or two I can re-use the power supply and be confident that it will still go strong for years to come. Basically I want to spend money once and get a good one now rather than keep purchasing cheap ones.

I was looking at these, because with the 30 dollar rebate they're the same price as a 500w.

I started to think about electricity bills tho.... Will the power supply always be pulling 600w or will it only supply what is demanded? I.E.: Is The PS is pulling (from the house electricity lines) less with only one hard drive and cdrom drive hooked up rather than 4 hard drives and 2 cd drives hooked up?

Is the 600w over doing it for this deal? Should I just go with the 500w?

Is Ultra a good power supply name?..... You cant read reviews on tiger direct as you can newegg.
