Default what steps to take to set up a server..?

Im looking to build a server, have it hosted somewhere (www.implex.net), have my two websites with email and streaming media on there as well. WHat steps do I take in doing this... will Win2k3 Server take care of all of my software needs?? How does this all configure with my host as well?

Yes, Win2K3 will work fine. You will have to talk to your ISP and see if they will be willing to host the server. You might need some additional software though. The version of IIS on Win2K3 is pretty capable of hosting multiple sites and streaming media.

However, Apache is a much better deal and it is time proven and it doesn't have the high hardware requirements of Win2K3.
