Default What is a RAID array? (For setting up SATA HDD).

What is a raid array exactly? What does it mean to setup a SATA HDD on a raid array.

Will I need a SATA hard drive if I am mostly just gaming?

RAID is a way of using the hard disks for backup or something else. RAID comes in 0-5 but 0 or 1 are good for use. you need two or more exact identicle hardrives to use RAID. SATA is always nice and doesnt cost too much more.
I wish I had a computer but I am broke!!!
