What makes one tv cost more than another?

it has nothing to do with frames being displayed... just the refresh rate being that hate prevents tearing that much more, and also makes motion look less choppy...reguardless of what the object in question is putting out

have you ever watched anything with 120 hurts.. ITS AWESOME... movement looks more fluid and life like

So you are saying it is better to go with the more expensive one?

Were not saying that were saying they are really quite close and the only way you will decide is to go to your local store and look at them side by side as screens don't have to be technical and functional they also need to suit your eyes.

very true... 120 hz is not for all...

120hz just makes the frame drops happen in shorter bits. since the standard is like 24fps or 29.whatever with 60 or 120hz there's a few frames that get dropped, causing ghosting/shadowing/lag all of that. with 120hz it refreshes faster so the dropped frames are spaced differently and are covered faster. its hard to explain but 120hz in theory makes action smoother without frame loss.

also there are plasma's that have 400hz.
