Same as zeed's post, but oem and w/o a disk. I was looking at the write speeds and the lite-on is faster in some areas?

Oh, and what about dual-layer? I heard this is the future or something? Is it worth upgrading for like $15 more? Here's one, dunno if NEC is a good brand.

That sony that ankush posted is made by liteon. Nothing sony about it besides the sticker which is good because liteon makes good drives. You dont need any software or cables anyway. I reccomend running nero 6. pm me and i will hook you up with it.

I've heard of DVD X Copy as really really good. I use STOMP RecordNow MAX.
