Default What graphics card to get?

I posted in this forum regarding my laptop speed and was told to get a new graphics card. What would be the best card to get for a good price? I want it to fit inside my laptop and not run too hot. Any suggestions are appreciated.

well first you gotta know if you can even upgrade

and if you can, this is one of your choices, but it's a "meh" card for a pretty damn big price

If you get a desktop, buy the 6600GT

I have a Dell inspiron 5100. The card is non-integrated so it can be upgraded.

Look at the Radeon Mobility X800 series. Very good notebook video cards.

Not sure, I never shop notebooks. I just heard they're good.
