Default what to get what to get...

well i am thinkin about what i should get with ma mula for my compy and was thinking about either a evga 6800gt or some new HD's to put in RAID.

my video card right now is fine but my HD is a 160GB IDE hard drive and i am leaning towards the hard drives. on the other hand, i think i may just get the 6800gt and wait for xmas to buy some hard drives and xp64.

any thoughts?

also, how would i go about installing RAID? and would i be able to use my 160GB IDE hard drive as a backup for files and stuff?

Well depends on what you need more. If you really need some new HD's for RAID, then do that. But if you decide you want a 6800, then get that. I personally would choose the 6800 over RAID for now.

Save some money and get a 2nd 6600GT. You wont notice a huge performance increase in a RAID array.

Get the 6800gt, then sell your 6600 and buy a HD
