What can I use to cover my screen so I won't get finger prints on it. I am looking for something cheap in price say under $10.

Also, what is the best thing to use to clean the screen without a cover?

TIA

Well, I just keep my screen an arms reach away and not touch it. You could go out and buy a bottle of LCD screen cleaner to clean it.

As long as you don't have any greasy fingers when you touch it...it should be fine.. I just touched mine while typing this, and it didn't leave any prints. I have a few marks on it that I need to clean off, though.

If you do get any marks...just use some isopropyl alcohol (commonly known as rubbing alcohol) and use a lint-free cloth (such as a coffee filter) to wipe it off with. Just make sure it's off before you do this :D.

that doesn't cause it to cloud or ruin?

I've got some rubbing wipes with 70% isopropyl (bought it to wipe off CPU's lol)

would that work? would you pay for my monitor if mine died? lol

it wouldn't die but the antiglare coating might come off and leave a big gaping wound type thing.....

lol

For cleaning the screen, a paper towel and water works fine for me. Better to use a lint free cloth though instead.

As for the fingerprints, well . . . what happens when you accidentally touch the cover? Putting a cover on the surface of the screen doesn't seem to make any sense, since there's also the problem of getting fingerprints on the cover itself. To add, you can't have a cover for a cover for a cover to infinity. It is a problem to a problem, not a solution.

In addition, fashioning some kind of cover for your display on the cheap without specialist materials is probably not a good idea, since it's likely to degrade the viewing quality of the screen (you might experience glare or lowered brightness, for example).

The simple solution to stop fingerprints getting on the screen? Just don't touch it. It can't be that hard. If you can't help it, then there's always operant/instrumental conditioning.
