For the past 3 years, I've been running a Pentium 2, 450 MHz, 256 MB Ram with my SE440BX-2 board.......yea, dont laugh

I'm finally getting around to upgrading motherboard, CPU, etc... Here's what i got listed so far

Combo from Tigerdirect.com - $139.99
*Soyo KT600 board
*AMD Athlon¬ô XP2800+ / 512K Cache / 333MHz FSB / Socket A / Processor / Barton Core

Then
*Ultra 512 MB PC2700, DDR 333 MHz $75
*CPU Fan $15
*400 W Power Supply
Total: about $245-250

got any other recommendations?? Thanks

The case is one I got from a friend a few years ago... Decent size tower, with 3 slots for CD/DVD drives, and 4 HardDrive / FloppyDrive slots. Currently I have a CD-RW, 48X cd reader, a floppy drive, and 2 hard drives (20GB & 60GB Western Digital)

The video card is also going to be upgraded, but I currently have an old ATI Capture card / TV Tuner with a few RCA outputs.

Also, I have a fan mounted to the front of the case as well, and plan on mounting a couple USB slots on the front..
