Default What Computer/Laptop should i get?

Hello, since my moms computer cant run City of Heros, and my dads can, but i only go to my dads house 2 times or so a week, im wondering, what Computer/Laptop should i get?

Right now, i have 200$, cant get anything, but, i might be able to convince my mom and dad to give me like 500$ each for a computer.

Or im getting a summer job, either way, what kind of laptop/computer should i get?

What specs?

Graphics
Processor
Ram
etc.

What specs would be ideal to be able to play Half Life 2, so then i wont have to get another comp in a long, long time.

Well I would always say build your own computer. But if you had to buy one I would go with Alienware. The are quite expensive however.

alienware is nothing but top end components in a 500 dollar case. Forget about it. Built it yourself, and build your system around a 9800 xt or even better .. the new x800 and you should be set.

Def. go build one yourself. If you keep on earning money you can add on to the quality of your computer. Then once you get a good enough computer buy it. Learn some of the basics in computers and set some requirements for your computer such as the Video Card and Hard drive. If you have alot of games go for a bigger hard drive. Check out the requirements that City of Heroes needs and modify your computer to the games requirements and to other games that you might want to get in your future. Make sure you get a nice processing speed too. I recommend customizing your computer at www.cyberpowerinc.com. Thats where I got my computer and I love it. I recommend the XBLADE case and get neons to go with it just to put a little pimp in your step. Good Luck!

See, this is exactly why I recommended buying one. Yes you can build your own laptop. However I don't recall seeing a place that sells the parts, prob specialists.
