weird, computer seems to "fix itself" after a day

sometimes i run into problems,and I keep restarting or shutting down my computer for 5 minutes and turn it back on, and the problem persists. If i leave it alone, and i turn my computer back on after a day, the computer works fine. Anyone have any explanation or theory? My best guess is that the computer cools down, otherwise i can't think or anything else. thanx

That sounds like a cooling issue, how many fans do you have in your box? Or dare I say it...water cooled? lol. Um....are you overclocking? That could be a BIG thing...if you are, then try toning the degree to which you overclock it down a notch or three...If you overclock and even one small piece cant take it...it shuts down.
