weird buzzing noise comming from comp

I've been hearing this loud buzzing sound comming from my computer lately, I think its my hard drive. Does this mean its about to crap out on me? It goes away after a min or so, it only happens when I start my computer up

Have you removed the side panel from your computer and tried to pinpoint exactly where the sound is emanating from?

There could be several possibilities, although none of them are good. PSU, CPU fan, hard drive, CD/DVD drive.

See if you can nail it down, and post back.

Most likely it's your hard drive or floppy drive. If it's the HD, you may overheat, like I did, but you can keep going (I did for about 1 year).
