Default Webcam

My friend when she plugs her webcam into her computer and it goes to start installing it her computer shutsdown. It only does this with one computer.

raiden_nrl,

Some webcam software/drivers are not compatible with windows XP. Is she using XP? If so, get a new driver for the cam. Remove the webcam entries from device manager in safe mode and use the new drivers to install the cam.
