Default warning: Eee 900 - ASUS manipulates review ratings

...by supplying reviewers units with higher specs as those sold on the market:

Eee 900: Asus Gives Reviewers Different Batteries Than Consumers, Considers Free Upgrade

As somebody said at gizmodo: "Why lie to your consumer when you can manipulate someone else into doing it for you?"

By using such methods ASUS are going down by their own hands, but
be(a)ware anyway..

Pretty stupid title.

Asus has acknowledged the issue and said replacements will be issued to those affect.

Not sure what agenda your trying to drive here...

But when it comes down to it, asus did not manipulate reviews, in what could easily be written off as a simple mistake in shipping out prototype Eee 900's with prototype batteries...

It ****es me off when people come to generalizations based on a single bit of information.

Also... this hit digg weeks ago, no need to waste forum bandwidth on it.

Well put. People can be vicious animals. I hate it when people jump the gun like that.
