Default Want to upgrade my computer...need help!!!

hey i want to upgrade our computer we have and what to know what "important things" really need the upgrade here's the info about my computer..........


Dell Dimension Computer 4550

Pentium 4 CPU 2.4 GHz
256 mb of ram
60 gb hard drive (21 gb used space, 34gb free space)

i have also a dvd drive and a cd writer but i think that is not important when you need to make your computer go faster.




soo what should i upgrade, the ram? or add another hard drive and how much?

RAM. What kind is that? Is that DDR-SDRAM or RDRAM?

Definetely RAM. You are going to have difficulty upgrading a Dell though.
