virus' on hard drive

I didn't really know where to put this, so, sorry if it is in the wrong place.

I have a lot of virus' on my computer it seems. I downloaded trojan guarder gold and it sems if I run it daily it removes 3-5 torjans/virus'. I think they are the sameones. I have this one called coolsearch, it really pisses me off..... Can someone tell me how to get these off of my computer forever?

i have had the same situation, the only fix, or at least wat it hoguht was the only fix, is to reformat your hdd, even Norton couldny stop the worms in my comp, i had no other choice

Well for starters you can start by using a better AV software like Norton AV or PCCillian. If you cannot get rid of the virii by using an AV software, then i would start consdiering a reformat.

AVG is also an excellent, free, anti virus software
