Default Videocard selection

I wanna play soldier of fortune 2, battlefield 1942+secret weapons, jedi outkast, jedi academy, unreal tournament 2004, and DooM III, also old games like Duke Nukem, Wolfenstein, and the old DooMs(gonna download wads and play online) as well as other games and upcoming titles, and I can sacrafice Half-Life 2, although it is a plus...the other games however are not expendable, so, Nvidia GeForce 4 4200/4600 128MB AGP? GeForce FX 56000/5700 128MB AGP, or ATi Radeon 9600Pro 128MB AGP?

do you think half-life 2 and nvidia will find a way to be compatable?

HL2 will run fine on a TI series GF4. You just won't get the same detail as the guy running the Raiden 9800.

The 9600 has great DX9 support and will also be bundled with HL2, so that might be a good place to start.
