Okay well at the end of summer im getting the panasonic dvx100a. I am going to be editing with premeire 6.5 and pinnacle liquid pro which i both have. Maybe avid xpress pro if i can get it from my friend. So you see these are things taking up a lot of usage and really require dual cpus. Since the camera is 3800 bucks you see im not gonna have any left for a computer. But im going to try and put 400-500 in my computer. Its the first in my specs. I was thinking this
I was thinking this hard drive which i would upload the video to from the camera edit it and then switch it over to my 100gb when im done, or just delete it and keep it on tape.

Then getting the scsi controller card of course
And adding atleast 512mb memory more but would it would work like this (256)(256)(512)(128).
I dont really want to spend any money because i have to get the avid hardware called mojo and its 1500 so i should save for that. any input is appreciated
