video driver problems... please help

"VPU Recover has reset your graphics accelerator as it was no longer responding to graphics driver commands."

i recently purchased WoW and had some crashing issues and the troubleshooting features led me to believe that i had a video driver problem. i dled the most recent driver (i think) and i keep getting this error message. any one know whats wrong?

my VGA card is radeon 9600xt ultra. i dled the 5.3 catalyst.
i am running windows xp w/ sp1. i have windows .net and i don't know what to do...

Try uninstalling the drivers, and any other ATi software, and then installing ONLY the video driver, and not the control panel, etc.

If this doesnt work 95% chance it's your card pysically and their's nothing you can do to it
