Default video card question

Hello, I am not a video card expert, so I am wondering, would this video card be good for gaming (with very graphical games, like EverQuest II)?

ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 Pro 128MB

If not, what's a good card, and where.

Mobility is for laptops. It's a good card and it will run that game, but, as BRoWZ stated there are better cards. There is a 9800 Mobility card out.
You could say I've been around.

Hello again, I am getting a laptop. I am wondering, is the 9700 fairly old? Is the 9800 Pro WAY better?

the 9700 pro will run almost all games out now.. the 9800 pro is better tho. If you can spend a few more $ i would get the 9800pro, it will last you a lil longer

wouldnt the 9800pro, decrease the life of the battery compared to the 9700?

im ordering this laptop from ABS, and 9800 isnt an option. Since 9700 sounds pretty good.. i think i'll go ahead and order it. Thank you all for your input.

The Radeon 9800 will consume more power.

eq1986, the Radeon 9700 will do fine.
