Angry video card question

i wanna know if i have a dvi and vga connections in the back of my monitor and a dvi video card, do i just need to hook the dvi cord to the back of my monitor and connect it to my dvi video card and thats it, or what

You're correct. The VGA connection on the back of the monitor is just an option, for those who have VGA connections on their graphic card, and/or they don't have a DVI adapter/cable.

Yes. All you need is DVI-to-DVI. You can leave the VGA port alone.
