Video card dillema.

Seems the 6600 beats in benchmarks, but the 9800 is more established as a good card.

that's only because the 9800 came out about 2 years ago while the 6600 is more modern. If it came out at the same time, no doubt that the 9800 would be behind the shadows of the 6600.

I would recommend anything from a 9600 XT to a 6600 GT as being really good price wise

i have a radeon aiw 9600 pro and it plays half life 2 very well at high settings with no lag. half life 2 doesnt seem to be too taxing on a video card
