Default Video Card

Everyone is telling me to get this video card for my new computer, isn't the ultra better?

http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduc...130-203&DEPA=1

And my CPU will probably be the AMD 64 3400+. Is this a good choice or should I save some money and get the 3200+?

And what is a good case (with a window)? I need something that will look nice and don't mind spending alot on it.

yeah the ultra has a higher memory bandwidth of like 35gb/sec I believe while the GT has 32gb/sec. On top of that the GT only requires one 4pin molex connector, while the ultra requires two of them. Also, the Ultra has 2 DVI-I connectors and one S-Video out while the GT has 1 normal VGA connector, 1 DVI-I connector, and 1 S-Video

The ultra and the GT both contain the same GPU though, so you can just overclock the GT and actually see better results than what the stock ultra would give you.

well, if you need dual dvi, like you're planning to do a dual LCD monitor config in the future, then you can get the XFX 6800 GT which has dual DVI

OR you can do SLI, but not with the AGP card

some good cases with windows are :

thermaltake
antec
chenming
raidmax

any others, anyone?
