And yes i know, but didnt think you'd be a heckler about it And a chip at absolute zero would be dumb, electricity wouldnt even be able to flow, let alone transistors to move ect

lol how are you going to get a chip cooler than everything around it without LC or higher

^^lol, that is very good, i susspect in the future quad cores will consume a similiar amount of energy, i wonder what thats like for O/C!

is it a weird type of socket or does that require a special energy saving mobo?

It's not a weird type of socket, but I believe you need a special motherboard to support them. Also available from VIA.
